Tint Your Tash Green – 10 Times

If you occasionally pop into this blog for a cup of tea or hang out on the Grow Your Own Gorgeousness FB page, you’ll know that I dived into a Green Smoothie Party this month.

Since blogging about the 10 Day Green Cleanse lots of people have asked me which recipes that I used and which greens can go in etc.

Whilst there are a bazillion recipes and books on green smoothies out there, I’m super happy to share with you those that tinted my tash green this January …

PS. I’m not a doctor or a nutritionist or a chef so please use the recipes below at your own risk!

PPS. Once you’ve drunk your fill here, it would be amazingly, tremendously wonderful if you’d click this link and vote for me (Bethan Christopher) as I’m up for an award. If I win it will mean great things for the Gorgeousness Programme, hence reaching more girls and women who deserve to experience a life of gorgeousness as opposed to body hatred.

It also means you get to see me in an unrehearsed, second take video in which the lighting is truly *spectacular*.

Thank you in advance.

1 banana

1 handful of blueberries

1 handful of kale

1 handful of spinach

1 tsp almond butter

1 tsp honey

Blended together until smooooooth!

3 handfuls of spinach

125ml water

1 apple, cored and chopped

1 handful frozen mango

1 handful of green grapes

2 tsp ground flaxseeds

Blend until smooooooth!

2 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 handfuls of spring greens

1 handful of frozen blueberries

1 handful of frozen raspberries

2 tsp ground flaxseeds

You know what to do with them …

2 handfuls spinach

1 handful of kale

200ml water (I used coconut)

1 banana

1 apple cored and diced

1 handful frozen strawberries

1 tsp  ground flaxseeds

Blend. Wah-lah.

1 and a half cups of freshly squeezed apple juice

2 handfuls of spinach (I love spinach)

1 handful of kale (don’t even mind kale so much now)

1 apple, cored and chopped

1 avocado (adds a nice creamy gorgeousness to the mix)

Blendo!

1 handful of mixed greens

2 handfuls of spinach

150 ml water

handful of fresh or frozen blueberries

1 banana, peeled

1 apple, cored and chopped

2 tsp. ground flaxseeds

And smoothie it …

1 cup of coconut water

2 handfuls of spinach or chopped kale

1 quarter of a chopped pineapple

1 ripe banana, chopped

BLEND.

2 handfuls of spinach or spring greens or curly kale

2 peaches

1 handful of frozen strawberries

1 handful of raspberries

200 ml water

You know what to dooo!

2 handfuls spinach

125 ml water

1 apple cored and chopped

1 handful frozen mango

1 and a half handfuls of frozen blueberries

1 tsp flaxseeds

Blend.

This last one is super simple. I drank it every day when I was doing my 6 weeks of raw food.

A shed load of spinach

1 x fresh mango (destined and chopped)

a big cube of ginger

200 ml water

Its not the best consistency but it is SO GOOOOOOD for nourishing your gorgeous bod.
